Facebook has more than 300 million active users to choose from that could be potential quality leads. It is today’s number 1 social media site for MLM business owners looking for high quality leads. More importantly the ones who are not MLM business owners looking for leads are people looking for leaders. Half of the 300 million users are people who log onto their accounts every single day. So the question isn’t why facebook, it is why not facebook?
Just to be clear this is not to say if you don’t use facebook you will not be successful in your MLM business, however using facebook properly will help in building a successful MLM business. We have to remember facebook is a social media site so there are some ethical policies that you have to beware of before you just start spamming your business. When dealing with prospective leads, if spamming is recognize this could lead to you being ignored or rejected. Now with that being said you’re probably thinking well how do I attract quality leads? Now that my friend is a good question!
The answer is simple! To attract quality leads you must be attractive, you must bring value that quality leads recognize. When I say attractive we’re not talking about looks, however you do want to look presentable, that does help. One way to be attractive is to have a profile picture of you smiling; a smile opens people up to you, gives that feeling of this person seems like a nice person to engage with. Bringing value is the important part. You want to provide content on your page that’s positive, intriguing, allowing people to expand their mindset. That can be done with articles, blogs or even positive quotes from great leaders.
Another way in getting quality leads is joining groups on facebook. You want to network with other like minded people, so how do you do that? You join MLM groups! You network with the people within those groups, invite them to your network by adding them as a friend. Remember this is a social media site so joining groups is one great way in networking with other people and being social. Again, you don’t want to just start pitching your business, facebook has a monitoring system that detects spammers. You want to build rapport, establish a friendship; you don’t want to come across as a salesman. The people you network with will check out your profile just like you did theirs to qualify them. At that point they will see any links or websites you have pertaining to your business.
The last thing I want to mention is building your profile. In your profile you want to include any links, blogs, websites, twitter account or any other social media systems you are using. This way people can follow the content you’re producing outside of facebook, they can also follow your blog. They will add you to their network in which other people will see and those people may choose to follow you too.
Generating quality leads using facebook can be easy and fun. Taking the right steps, producing great value will attract the type of leads you’re looking for. Be consisting with these steps and I guarantee you will make your new nickname the magnet!
