"Time Management" is a commonly used expression. If we examine the words it implies that we can actually manage time. The reality is that each human on the planet only gets 24 hours each day, and once you remove sleep, work, family time, meals, commuting, housework, sports, hobbies and other necessary daily routines, most people find there are few available hours left over. I feel that the only management one can do is "self-management as it relates to time". It's impossible to squeeze more hours out of each day. It is, however, possible to get more results out of the hours you have. By managing ourselves more effectively with respect to time, we can greatly increase our accomplishments within a given time frame.
Being productive with your time is one of the best time management skills. Even though we all get 24 hours in a day, whatever free time we have to work on our personal or business life we must make productive. How are you spending your time? Are you doing things that will get you closer to your goals, better yourself, learning something new to help increase your income? These are things to think about when best managing and controlling your time while being productive with it.
There are three categories of activities that fill our 24-hour days:
1.Achievers- are those activities, which are responsible for most of your money making success
2.Builders- are necessary obligations that contribute only 20% towards ones financial success.
3.Crushers- are time wasters such as disorganization, forgetting things and searching for lost items. The most common and dangerous crusher of success is procrastination.
Don't wait. The time will never be just right. - Napoleon Hill
