Recruiting And Qualifying People For Your Time

If you want to grow your buiness and achieve the results you want you have to be constantly recruiting. You have to have more leads than you have time. Leads is the water thats going to help your business grow and take off to unbelieveable heights. However one thing we want to remember when recruiting is qualifying people for your time. This is prospecting and the key to doing this is asking questions. Depending on the answers to at least your first two questions dictates rather the prospect qualifies for you time to mover forward. You just dont want anybody in your business, you want sharp people with desire with a decisive mindset. A lot of people fail in building their business because they sign anyone up then wonder why they don't do anything because they didn't qualify them for the business or their time. People should feel like they have to QUALIFY to work with you. You have to have that posture about yourself that when talking to a prospect they have to think rather they have what it takes to work with you or do your business. The mistake most people make is they find themselves answer questions from prospect as if they are qualifing you for their time. It should be the other way around, you have the gold and the opportunity that people should be knocking down your door to take advantage of. Now we all have been that person feeling like we're being interviewed by prospect, including myself. It's a learning experience, but we have to start reversing that role, qualifing prospects for our time and business. The thing you should be learning from this experience is you don't need them, they need you, they need your opportunity. They should be selling themselves to you giving you a reason why you should give them YOUR time. This is no different then a person going on a interview for a job, a person isn't going to question a Fortune 500 company saying why should they work for them or what makes their company worth their time working for. Someone who has no job needs that company more then the company needs them. Thats how you have to look at your business, you're the CEO of YOUR business. You have to be controlling the conversation when prospecting, asking the right questions. When you start to take this approach your prospect isn't used to this and they begin to see you as someone who has value and something to help them, they take you serious and start to think if they our worth your time in joining your business. YOU have to be the influencer. Be a doer of and teach this concept to your team and you're going to retain a lot more people and create more results out of your team that will get them closer to the success they desire. Position yourself as the expert and you will build a successful business and attract winners and producers on your team.
