The Importance Of Accountability

One of the most common reasons that most people fail in their business or personal life is lack of accountability. It is important that we start holding ourselves accountable when it comes to our goals and dreams. You have to create positive habits that you consistently do on a daily basis. Rather it be reading 15 minutes a day, exercising an hour a day or putting 2 to 3 hours into your business on a daily basis. You can talk about these habits and if you have them written down read them all the time, but only through action will these habits be created.

If you are using a system or plan to achieve goals you have it is key to be accountable for that system. To achieve sales or gain leads for your business it is a must that you are on a daily basis using a system to put people in a process in doing business with you. This is a simple process of moving people through information to reach a decision quickly and must be done on a consistent basis to get consistent results. When you start doing this system on a consistent basis not only does it get easier but more importantly you get better my friends! The better you get the better the results and the more successful you will be. This also follows for your personal goals you have a system for as well.

Are you surrounding yourself with people that will hold you accountable? Having positive people in your network that will hold you accountable for your actions is one of the key factors in being successful. Start sharing your goals and dreams with your friends or family, people that you know that will hold you accountable to achieving your goals and dreams. You want these people to be motivated, upbeat positive people. Negative people or dream killers stay away from, they will do the opposite and hold you accountable for why something won't work or why your goals will never get accomplished. A lot of people are that way because something they tried to accomplish didn't happen, which could be because they didn't have someone holding them accountable. So you want to stay focus and surround yourself with the right people.

Another important factor is being accountable for your word and time. I actually feel this is the most important out of all the things i will mention today when it comes to accountability. When it comes to integrity and character your words do not return void. Your words create energy that people feed off when you are talking to them. People are going to feed off and believe whatever you are telling them until you give them a reason not to, which in return will destroy your character. And i know you heard this before, but say what you mean and mean what you say, when you are walking your talk and when you live what you preach, they will follow you! By keeping your words bond, you get to reap the rewards of connecting with those who connect with your emotional message. This concept also applies to time, i used to be a person who was late for everything. People started to notice that and would assume i would be late for anything requiring a specific time. I didn't want to be known for that anymore, so i started holding myself accountable for being early for everything. This also means making your time productive, you have to be making good use of your time. Time is something you can never get back so we want to respect and use it wisely. You only receive 24 hours each day to create results. This is 1,440 minutes; 86,400 seconds! So my friends start holding yourself accountable for your words and time so you can achieve success and accomplish your goals.

There are a lot of other things out there that are important when it comes to accountability. These are just a few of them i wanted to share that i felt are most important in achieving success and the results you want. I hope this will be helpful in your journey!
